Details and limitations
Every key maps to the character on the same key in the other layout, so punctuation changes too: ? on the Latin layout is , in Russian, / is a period, and the Russian ? is Shift+7 (& on the Latin layout).
Auto converts the whole text towards the opposite of the script that has more letters. If the text mixes correct and wrong parts, convert only the wrong part.
FAQ
Why does the question mark become a comma?
On the Russian layout, the key that gives ? in English (Shift + /) types a comma, and / types a period. The tool reproduces what the keys would have typed.
Does it work with the Ukrainian layout?
Not yet. Ukrainian keys for і, ї, є and ґ differ from the Russian layout, so they are not converted.
Is my text uploaded?
No, the conversion runs in your browser.
