Your cutting plan appears here

Enter sheet and piece dimensions, then calculate to see the layout and material usage.

How to use

  1. Set stock dimensions, available sheet count and saw kerf.
  2. Add each piece size and quantity. Disable rotation when matching grain direction.
  3. Calculate and review all placements and unplaced pieces. Export the diagrams and cut list.

Example

A 1220 × 2440 mm sheet with a 3 mm kerf can be planned for cabinet panels and shelves. Piece IDs link each rectangle to its dimensions in the table.

Details and limitations

This is a rectangular guillotine layout, with no allowance for edge trimming or defects. Enter usable stock dimensions after trimming.

The drawing is a layout, not a machine toolpath. SVG exports contain piece IDs; the CSV records positions and dimensions.

FAQ

Does the calculator find the best possible cutting plan?

It tries four deterministic packing strategies and chooses the plan with fewer unplaced pieces, then fewer sheets. It cannot guarantee a global optimum.

Are dimensions uploaded?

No. Layout calculation and file export run in your browser.
