Details and limitations

Each die is rolled independently and every face is equally likely. Results come from your browser's built-in cryptographic random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues), with rejection sampling so every outcome has the same chance. Nothing is uploaded.

Six-sided dice are drawn with pips; other dice show the number rolled. The history keeps your last 30 rolls until you reload the page.

FAQ

What does 2d6+3 mean?

Roll two six-sided dice, add them, then add 3. The number before “d” is how many dice, the number after it is how many sides, and the optional +N or −N is added to the total.

Can I roll a d20 or a percentile die?

Yes. Pick d20 or d100 from the list, or type d20 or 1d% in the notation box. Any die from 2 to 1000 sides works through notation.

Is an online dice roller as fair as real dice?

Each face has the same probability because results come from the browser's cryptographic random generator with rejection sampling; physical dice can be slightly uneven. The tool is not certified for regulated gambling.
