Details and limitations

Lorem Ipsum is scrambled Latin derived from Cicero's De finibus bonorum et malorum (45 BC). Designers use it so that layouts are judged without readers being distracted by real content.

Each run produces new random sentences from the traditional word list. Replace placeholder text before publishing — search engines and readers treat it as empty content.

FAQ

What does “Lorem ipsum” mean?

It is not meaningful Latin. It comes from a passage of Cicero ("dolorem ipsum", pain itself) with words cut and altered, which is why it reads like Latin but says nothing.

Can I get HTML for a web page?
