Details and limitations
Colors are read from the full-resolution image, not the scaled preview, as decoded by your browser in sRGB. An embedded color profile can make values differ slightly from other software.
The 8 main colors are found with median-cut quantization. The image is processed on your device and is not uploaded.
FAQ
Why does the color differ slightly from Photoshop?
Programs can apply color profiles differently, and JPG compression changes neighboring pixels. Pick a few points in a flat area for a stable value.
Can I pick colors from a screenshot?
