Details and limitations
Decoding uses jsQR in your browser; the image is not uploaded. Light-on-dark (inverted) codes are supported, and large photos are retried at smaller sizes to find small codes.
One QR code is read per image. For a page with several codes, crop to the one you need.
FAQ
How can I scan a QR code on my screen without a phone?
Take a screenshot (Win+Shift+S or ⌘+Shift+4), then paste it here with Ctrl+V or ⌘+V.
Why is no code found?
The code may be too small, blurry or cut off. Crop closer, keep the white border around the code, or use a sharper image.
Is it safe to open the link?
Check the address first; QR codes can lead to phishing pages. This page never opens links automatically.
