Resolution limits the longest edge without enlarging the source. Compression may produce a larger file for already optimized videos; compare the result before downloading.
Up to 1 GB on desktop and 300 MB on mobile. These are selection limits, not a guarantee of successful processing; long or high-resolution videos can exceed browser memory.

How to use
- Choose a video up to 1 GB on desktop or 300 MB on mobile.
- Choose Keep more detail, Everyday sharing or Smallest option. Open advanced settings only if you need finer control.
- Compress, compare the original and output sizes, preview and download.
Example
For a large 1920 × 1080 video, choose a 720 px maximum long edge and balanced quality. The output fits inside 720 × 720 without stretching.
Details and limitations
Video is re-encoded locally with FFmpeg.wasm. Compression changes quality and can take longer than the video duration.
The output size is not guaranteed. Already compressed files may grow, and reducing duration also changes the reported savings.
Files are not uploaded. The processing engine downloads on demand; large files may exceed browser memory.
FAQ
Can I compress to an exact file size?
This tool uses quality-based encoding, so it does not promise an exact target size. Compare the actual output with the original.
Will the video be stretched?
No. The original aspect ratio is retained, and smaller videos are not enlarged.
