Introspection JSON from GraphQL — Numio
Converts GraphQL SDL into the JSON result of a standard introspection query using @graphql-codegen/introspection. The output contains a top-level __schema object with root types, every type including built-ins, and directives.
Producing a schema.json for tools that expect introspection JSON rather than SDL, such as some IDE plugins and client generators.
When to use it
- Producing a schema.json for tools that expect introspection JSON rather than SDL, such as some IDE plugins and client generators.
- Inspecting how a field's type is wrapped in NON_NULL and LIST kinds in introspection data.
How to use
- Paste the schema SDL into the GraphQL Schema editor.
- Wait for the JSON in the Introspection JSON panel; even a one-field schema produces about a thousand lines.
- Copy or download the JSON and save it, for example as schema.json.

…Details and limitations
Built-in scalars (String, Boolean), the introspection types (__Schema, __Type, __Field and others) and the built-in directives (include, skip, deprecated, specifiedBy) are always included.
The JSON is not wrapped in a "data" key; it starts directly with __schema.
Conversion runs in a Web Worker in your browser. This page only takes a schema; it does not query a live endpoint.
FAQ
Can I get introspection JSON from a URL?
No. The page converts SDL you paste; it does not send introspection queries to a server. Export SDL from your server first, then paste it here.
Are deprecated fields included?
Yes. Every field and enum value is listed with isDeprecated and deprecationReason, so fields marked @deprecated appear with isDeprecated: true.
Why is the output so large for a small schema?
Introspection results describe the whole type system, including the built-in scalars, the introspection meta-types and directive definitions, not only your own types.
