How to use

  1. Choose a PDF in normal reading order.
  2. Choose paper size, binding direction and margin. Create the booklet PDF.
  3. Review both sides of the first sheet, download, then print duplex using the short edge.

Example

An 8-page left-bound booklet prints as [8, 1], [2, 7], [6, 3], [4, 5]. A 5-page input adds three blank pages.

Details and limitations

Use ordinary single-page printing on the already imposed PDF. Do not enable booklet mode again.

Pages are scaled proportionally into each half-sheet. Crop areas and page rotation are respected. For thick booklets, professional imposition with creep compensation may be needed.

FAQ

Why are blank pages added?

Each folded sheet provides four reading pages, so the page count is rounded up to a multiple of four.

Are PDF files uploaded?

No. Processing stays in your browser. Preview renderer assets may be downloaded, but document bytes are not sent to a server.
