One PDF · up to 30 MB and 200 pages · processed on your device
How to use
- Choose a PDF, then type the watermark text or pick a PNG or JPG logo.
- Adjust opacity, rotation, width (as a share of the page width), centered or tiled layout, and the pages to mark.
- Check the preview of the first selected page, select Add watermark and download the result.
Example
Text “DRAFT”, 30% opacity, 45°, 60% width, centered → a light diagonal DRAFT across the middle of every page.
Details and limitations
Text is drawn with your browser's fonts and embedded as a transparent image, so Chinese, Japanese, Arabic and other scripts look right, but the watermark text is not searchable or selectable.
The watermark is added on top of the existing page content and is not encrypted or locked; anyone with a PDF editor can remove it. Rotated and cropped pages are handled, so it stays upright on the visible page.
FAQ
Can I put a watermark only on some pages of a PDF?
Yes. Enter the pages, for example 1, 3-5; other pages are left unchanged.
Does the watermark make the PDF much larger?
Only slightly in most cases. The watermark image is embedded once and reused on every page and every tile.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. The PDF and the watermark image are processed in your browser and never leave your device.
