How to compress your images

  1. Select up to 30 images at a time, with a maximum size of 15 MB per file.
  2. Open Compression settings to adjust quality or dimensions, then select Compress. Start with one image to find suitable settings.
  3. Compare the resulting file size and preview before saving. When multiple images finish, download them together as a ZIP.

Compare quality and file size

For photos, reduce JPEG / WebP quality gradually and check fine text, edges and gradients. Reducing the PNG palette may save space but can change colors. If an image is larger than its intended display size, try reducing its dimensions as well.

Savings depend on the image and settings; an already optimized file may not get smaller. This tool does not guarantee a target such as 100 KB. Adjust the settings and check the actual output size.

Formats, transparency and processing limits

  • Image processing runs in your browser. If large images or a batch use too much memory, try fewer or smaller files.
  • JPEG cannot preserve transparency. Choose a format such as PNG when transparency matters and inspect the converted preview.
  • Formats such as AVIF depend on browser support. Animation, color and metadata preservation are not guaranteed for every conversion; keep your originals.
