How to play & measurements

The blue object is your fixed reference. Drag the gold object’s corner to resize, or use arrow keys (Shift for larger steps). Zoom changes both objects equally, never your answer. Get closer to the real size to earn up to 100 points each round.

Questions

How do you play the size estimation game?

Compare familiar objects on one shared scale. The blue reference stays fixed. Drag the coral object or its corner handle to the right or up to grow it; left or down to shrink it. Arrow keys fine-tune the size. Lock in to reveal the real size beside your dashed outline. Paper and card measurements follow ISO formats; sports balls use rounded regulation examples. The drawing is not life-size. A guess twice or half the answer earns zero; closer earns more.

When does the daily challenge change?

Each game has five daily rounds worth up to 100 points each (500 in total). The rounds change at midnight on your device’s local calendar date, so players in different time zones can be on different days. Your daily result is stored only in this browser. Practice mode gives a new set of rounds whenever you like and does not affect the daily result.

Where do the object sizes come from?

Bank cards and paper use ISO/IEC 7810 and ISO 216 dimensions (for example 8.56 cm card width, 14.8 cm A6 long edge and 21 cm A5 long edge). Sports balls use rounded examples within regulation ranges published by their governing bodies. Each round links to its source.

Do I need an account or an app?

No. The games are free and run in a web browser on desktop or mobile, with no sign-up or download. Scoring happens on your device. Sound is off until you turn it on.
